For those of you living outside of Utah and haven't heard, the mountain near our home caught fire yesterday. The winds were gusting at 50 mph which made the perfect fire storm. You can read details here. Thanks to all our friends and family who called to check on us. Thankfully our house is about 2 miles east of the evacuation zone. I must admit that when I heard {at 1am} that the evacuation zone was going to be increased, I started making a list of the things I wanted to grab should it come to that! When you hear that families had 20 minutes or less to grab and go, it makes you start considering the way you would prioritize which belongings you would take with you. In the end, 4 homes {out of the 1600 that were evacuated} were lost. It seems like such a small number, but it would be devastating if one was yours.
