The Power of Pink

It is my pleasure to show you my 2011 cancer quilt...The Power of Pink. It is my intention to continue this fun tradition of creating and donating profits of a unique quilt each year. {Read about last year's quilt here}This year, I fell in love with these polka dot prints and in the end the combination of hot pink and white packed a powerful punch! I added the gathered squares for some dimension and the result was bold, strong and feminine! Here is to all of you who have fought the fight...

The Power of Pink Cancer Quilt
This one-of-a-kind bold pink quilt measures 37.5" x 52.5" and was made with coordinating bright pink squares and trimmed with white sashing. It features gathered centers which add femininity and unique dimension to this quilt. This quilt was layered with Warm N White cotton batting, was machine pieced and quilted and has hand-sewn binding. Quilt is machine washable/dryable and has been washed once to give it that antique puckered look.

All profits will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
